Steve Gold is the Editor-in-Chief of IT Security Pro, From his base in Sheffield, England, Steve has been a governance, risk and compliance journalist for 28 years, 26 of them full-time.

A former Senior Auditor and Fraud Investigator in the NHS, he helped publisher Paul Robinson found SC Magazine - as News Editor - in the early 1990s, migrating as Technical Editor to Infosecurity Magazine eight years ago when Paul sold SC Magazine on to Haymarket Publishing.

Earlier this year he teamed up with Huson Media - the company that marketed and helped to monetise Infosecurity Magazine until its transfer from Reed-Elsevier to Reed Exhibitions in late 2011 - to launch IT Security Pro (www.itsecuritypro.co.uk), which is the UK's third IT security publication.

Mark Ridley is a founding member of reed.co.uk and web industry veteran, with over 15 years of experience building web platforms and businesses.

As a Board Member and Director of Technology at reed.co.uk, Ridley oversees the company's technology strategy, working with teams responsible for all aspects of product delivery - from design and development to infrastructure and innovation. Over the last year, Ridley's Operations team have been working on a complete business re-engineering project, covering systems and processes from CRM, HR and payroll through to social intranet and email.
